Backpacks can be modified with skins or dyes as called in the game, this is just another cosmetic mod but this again helps in standing out from the rest of the agents.

How to Apply & Change Backpack Skin in Division 2

Changing the color of your backpack is really easy, but all you have to keep in mind is that you need to have a rare backpack at the least before you can mod it. Items in The Division 2 are color-coded to denote their rarity and it goes from gray to gold. You will need at least a specialized backpack or a superior backpack before you can begin customizing it.

If you happen to get dyes in the game before you have equipped a tweakable backpack, hold on to it until you get a corresponding backpack and then proceed further.

Once you have all the items, go into your inventory and select the backpack you wish to modify and then go into the mods menu. The Dye Slot will be in the center of the backpack and you will need to go down there, select the Dye you wish to use and apply it.

That’s it, you’re all set, now go onto the streets of D.C and take on the Hyena with you sweet customized backpack.
