Considering that there are numerous side quests for players to try out, it might be even longer than that. According to the developers, the second act is the longest one and the third one is the shortest since it wraps up the story.
How to Tell what BG3 Act You are in
While it is quite difficult to identify which act you are in, players have identified three locations that can be identified as a beacon to which act you are in. Once players reach the Moonrise Tower, the Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3 begins and you can use the Baldur’s Gate town as the beacon for Act 3. This way players can tell which act they are currently in. Hopefully, the developers introduce a systematic method that allows players to identify it easily.
