If you’ve reached World Tier 3 in Diablo 4, you must learn all about the Helltide events. These events randomly occur across the Sanctuary. The demons and monsters are much more robust during these events and appear in large numbers. So Helltides event in Diablo 4 is perfect for farming XP and strong weapons like the Sacred Items. This guide will tell you how Helltides work in Diablo IV.

How to Access Helltide Events in Diablo 4

As we mentioned, Helltide events occur in World Tier 3. So to access them, you must complete the campaign and the Cathedral of Light Capstone dungeon. This will give you access to the World Tier 3 Nightmare difficulty, which contains Helltide events.

These are region-wide events, so you can open the map and look for areas highlighted in red to find them. Helltide events in Diablo 4 are periodical events. They spawn after every hour and last for an hour as well. As we mentioned, the monsters in these events are strong. So as soon as one appears, join forces with your friends to take on the demons in this region. They also feature special event bosses, which are hard to defeat. But beating them will reap you many rewards.

Helltide Event Rewards in Diablo IV

Another reward in Helltide is a unique currency called Aberrant Cinders. This currency is only used to open chests called Tortured Gifts, which are event exclusives. The cost of these chests is not fixed, so collect as many Aberrant Cinders as possible. The Tortured Gifts’ chests contain weapons, armor, amulets, and Fiend Rose. All the Aberrant Cinders you collect will disappear once the event ends. So make sure you spend them all.
