When taking part in the Helix Race in Splitgate, you will be able to collect the first four oddballs without having to use any portals. Once you get these four oddballs, you should sprint directly into the cube located ahead of you and come out from the wall to your left. You can do so by placing a portal on the cube.

While collecting the oddballs, you should pay special attention to the 12th, 13th, and 14th oddballs. As you head towards the 12th ball, you should create a portal inside the high building. Create another portal directly under the 12th ball. Use your momentum to go right through the deep chamber. Grab the 13th and 14th balls in one go as you fly through.

You should remember to use as many portals as possible while taking part in this race. Portals will help you complete the Helix Race much more quickly. The top players in Splitgate barely even use their feet while attempting the race, because portals are much quicker. One thing you need to take care of when using portals is remembering where you have placed them. While placing many portals may be good for your speed, you should not forget where you placed them. Doing so will cost you precious time.

How to Start the Race?

To start the Helix Race, you will need to go to the Training tab. This is located in the game’s lobby. In the training menu, you will find the options to take part in races and check out the Practice Range among other modes.

Clicking on the Races option will result in a display of all the racecourses in Splitgate. From this list, you need to click on Helix Race. Once you do so, click on Start Race. The advantage of these races is the fact that you can play them for an unlimited amount of time. This will help you improve your skills while also helping you get quicker.

This is all you need to know about how to complete the Helix Race quickly in Splitgate. As you can see, with a little bit of practice, you too will be able to master this race and set record times! Just make sure to use portals properly, and you will be good to go!
