Shaili ChhedaBy Shaili ChhedaJune 16, 20212 Mins Read

Frostpunk is a survival game and the survival of the civilians of your city will require heat. There are levels of heat in this game and every 10-degree Celsius temperature drop will reduce the heat levels by 1. At temperature 0 or more, the health of your civilians will be good and there will be no chances of them falling ill. However, the lower the temperature goes, the thinner are the chances of them and ultimately your game to survive. You can keep them safe by heating their homes. So in this guide, we will tell you the ways to heat homes in Frostpunk.

How To Heat Homes In Frostpunk?

    Heat Home In Frostpunk

There are a number of ways to heat homes in Frostpunk. These are mentioned below:

    Generator

Use the generator to heat homes in Frostpunk. These are the main sources of heat in the game. The heat generator tower or the generator is the main building in the center of your city. It is responsible for powering your city and providing heat.  At the highest level of 4, this generator will provide +4 heat.

    Research Nodes

There are a number of research nodes in the game that you can discover in order to increase the temperature of the homes. You can level up your generator and its power in a number of ways to increase the heat level of homes in Frostpunk. You can also level up your houses. This can be done by house insulation, increasing the level of your houses by 1.

    Lamp Relic

The lamp is a relic in the game which is another source of heat and light to heat houses in Frostpunk.

The game has an option to see the thermal map of the city. Here you will be able to find out if the civilians have enough heat or are they running low on heat. So check that map and target the areas that have low heat.

So that is all for our guide on how to heat homes in Frostpunk. If you would like to know how to raise hope in the game, we have a guide on that too for you to check out.
