For a horror survival game, the only important thing equivalent to weapons is healing. Without the ability to save yourself from the brink, no amount of armor and weaponry can help you. Since the mechanics for healing are different from game to game, players can sometimes get confused. So how do you heal in Dead Space Remake? If you are also confused or are new to the game, this guide is exactly what you need. While we explain to you how you can get your health restored, you will also have to keep in mind how to find them throughout the locations. Also remember, they will have to be stored in your inventory. Don’t worry, it won’t take up a lot of space in your inventory. Nevertheless, scroll down through this healing guide and you will be good to go.
How to Heal in Dead Space Remake
While it is quite obvious that you need Med Packs to heal yourself in the game, the chunk of health you restore will depend on which one you are using. Nevertheless, any Med Pack will be useful in life-and-death situations.
Now that you know you can heal yourself with Med Packs in Dead Space Remake, here are the controls to apply it:
- For PlayStation Users – Press O
- For Xbox Users – Press B
- For PC Users – Press Q
Do note that these key binds are default and if you have changed any, you will have to go through your settings. Additionally, you can also head to your Inventory, select the Med Pack and click the action button to heal yourself in the game. However, this is a slow method and we don’t recommend it unless you don’t have control over your key binds.
How to Get Med Packs
Med Packs can be found all over the maps in Dead Space Remake. There are three primary ways through which you will be able to collect Med Packs:
- By stomping enemies that you defeat.
- Destroying all boxes in the area.
- Lockers that you can open depending on the security clearance.
