Recently, a rumor got surged over the Internet that reveals the possible location of GTA 6. You heard it right, a map of the next big thing in the gaming community just got leaked! After years of waiting, GTA fans across the world have got another reason to stay hyped about Rockstar’s upcoming project. That being said, here’s everything you should know about the leaked map of GTA 6.
Where is GTA 6 Based? – Possible Location
Early rumors suggest that GTA 6 will feature Miami City. Sounds familiar right? The first time Miami got featured in a Rockstar game was in GTA Vice City. This means that we could possibly get to discover easter eggs from GTA Vice City in GTA 6, just saying though. As of now, it is for sure that GTA Vice City’s Miami is a part of the huge map in GTA 6. Also, leaks suggest that GTA 6’s map will display some of the parts of Florida, or most probably regions from South America as well.
A decade ago, before the release of GTA 5, players gathered all the data to create a map of it. Further, after the release, the map turned out to be very similar to the original GTA 5 map. Decades after that incident, players have once again gathered to scour the internet and create a GTA 6 map. Since all the leaks have been wiped from the internet, players are taking references from real-life locations in Miami & Florida.
A couple of years ago, a Rockstar employee clicked an image of Florida and mentioned it in his Instagram Story. What grabbed the player’s attention is that he even mentioned Rockstar Games in his story. This eventually turned into a huge thread of conversation on Reddit.
How Huge will be GTA 6’s Map?
A Redditor known as ChurchofGTA did a lot of work for us here. This user lined up GTA 5 coordinates with leaked coordinates of the GTA 6 map.

Through this, we now have a glimpse of how huge GTA 6’s map is going to be. According to a YouTuber, Hugo Games, GTA 6 map will be around 103.14 sq/km long. On the other end, the map featured in GTA 5 was only 75.84 sq/km. Hence, this gives us an idea about what’s coming our way in this upcoming Rockstar game.
