Groot is in the Fortnite, and so Thor and so Doctor Doom. Fortnite Season 4 is full of surprises, this time the game brings in many characters from different Comic worlds. Previously Fortnite focuses on single characters like Deadpool or Aquaman, while Season 4 is filled with Super Heroes and Super-Villains. The new season brings Groot Skin, you will need to complete two challenges to unlock it. Here is what you have to do to complete Groot Awakening Challenges.
Fortnite Season 4 Groot Awakening Challenge 1 – Heart Shape Island Location
The first challenge is to plant a tree on a heart-shaped island in Fortnite. On the massive map, it is not easy to simply look for the island after jumping from the bus. You have to know in advance where to project your landing to complete the first Groot Awakening Challenge. Heart Shape Island is located at the extreme west corner of Fortnite Map. In the map screenshot, you can see the island is on the west corner of the map. Near the beach, land on the same and plant a seed on the island. That’s it your Groot Awakening first challenge is completed.
Fortnite Season 4 Groot Awakening Challenge 2 – Friendship Monument
In the second challenge, you will have to find Friendship Monument and emote as Groot. This is a little tricky because you can get ambushed if you are not aware of other players in the region. So instead of directly landing on the spot land a little far and make your way towards the monument. Here are the direction and map locations of the Friendship Monument.
Friendship Monument is not far from the Heart Shape island. You have to walk a little north towards Sweaty Sands. Look for a large castle facing the sea. Below that there is a forest area, search for two human monuments made of pipe and hay bales. Both are sitting and high-fiving, this is your spot. Just emote as Groot and you are done with two Fortnite Season 4 Groot Awakening Challenges.
Completing these two will unlock Groot Skin and Rocket Racoon as pets. The pet follows Groot wherever he goes in the match. Both are cool rewards to unlock and it is worth giving a try. The challenge is not tough, but be ready to face other players around. And be quick to complete this, you can then use the Groot skin in Fortnite Season 4.
