The GPS is an important tool in Fisch because with the exact coordinates you can reach a particular location without spending time searching for it. After the Forsaken shores update, it has gained even more value because of Treasure maps. It is fairly cheap to buy, and if you’re new to the game, it’s one of the must-have items. Here’s how to get and use a GPS.
How to Get GPS in Fisch
The GPS can be purchased from Moosewood. From the point where you spawn, turn around and go towards the Angler. There will be a pond nearby and the GPS will be kept on a chair. Interact with it to spend 100C$ to buy it.
If you’re in Mushgrove Swamp, you can buy it from the Guard Post as well.
How to Use a GPS
Find the GPS in your inventory and click on it. This will activate the coordinates at the bottom of the screen. So, if you wish to tell your friend where to find a certain totem, or catch a particular fish, you can share the exact coordinates and the friend will be able to find it easily.
When you find a treasure map, it will be incomplete. So you must seek an NPC who is located in a cave higher up on the Forsaken Shores island. Pay him the required amount to fix the map, and you will have the exact coordinates to visit where you will find a Treasure chest. This chest can have a wide variety of rewards like totems, baits, Enchant Relic and the new Sunken Rod.
GPS Coordinates Meanings
Here’s how the directions work:
The compass at the top of the screen is important. If you want to increase the X numbers, go towards the East. To reduce the numbers of X and eventually get them to negative, go towards the West.
If you want to increase the Z numbers, then go towards the south, and to reduce the Z numbers, go north. The Y numbers are all about height, so if you’re standing still, you might see 135 but when you jump, the number will change to 142. This will help you find locations that are at a height.
