Ghostrunner for Nintendo Switch Delayed to November 2020

Launched yesterday on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions and expected in 2021 on the next-generation consoles of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, Ghostrunner is now delayed for Nintendo Switch, where it will debut in November 2020.

The guys from One More Level and Slipgate Ironworks, in collaboration with All in! Games and 505 Games, have published a short message to explain the reasons for the delay of the launch date of Ghostrunner for Switch:

The Nintendo Switch version faces a slight delay into November, as the Ghostrunner teams want all players to have the best possible experience with the game. The final date will be announced in the coming days, so please stay tuned for more information.

Ghostrunner is an adrenaline-pumping first-person action title in a cyberpunk setting where players will be required to climb the Dharma Tower, humanity’s last refuge after a devastating cataclysm that nearly wiped out the world’s population. From the foundations of the Tower, an adrenaline rush will begin to the highest point of the structure, where the tyrannical Keymaster, Mara, who rules with an iron fist and without any respect for human life, will be waiting for the players.

As warriors with the most technologically advanced blade ever made you will always be outnumbered but you will never be outclassed, slicing one enemy after another, dodging bullets thanks to superhuman reflexes.

The gameplay mechanics focused on the one shot one kill philosophy will allow you to take down every enemy with a single shot, giving life to a spectacular dance of death, which is just waiting to be experienced.
