Like in real life, Diamonds are a rare-to-find item in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Thanks to the Mining element of this game, you can do mining to get this mineral. It is possible to Sell or Fuse this item to gain the benefits it offers. However, due to its rare nature, there are very few locations where one can farm Diamonds in TOTK. But with our guide on it, not only you will know where to find them, but also use them. Take a look below to get started.
Where to Find & Get Diamonds in Zelda TOTK (Locations)
A rare material like a Diamond is found inside Treasure Chests in Shrines. Since there are plenty of Shrines in Tears of the Kingdom, we will be short-listing the ones with Diamonds inside. Apart from that, you can explore caves and look for ores with a glimmer, and then you can mine them to see if you’ve got yourself some diamonds.
Note: For an unspoiled experience, we will only be mentioning the location of the Shrines and not how to get the Treasure Chest.
Jochi-ihiga Shrine
- Location: This Shrine is located near the Akkala Highlands region on the eastern side of the surface overworld.
- Coordinates: 3809, 1219, 0090.
Ganos Shrine
- Location: Western side of the Great Sky Island.
- Coordinates: -3368, 0407, 1695
Mayaotaki Shrine
- Location: North Lomei Labyrinth (eastern side of the North Tabantha Snowfield in the Hebra Mountains region)
- Coordinates: -0885, 3543, 0284
Sihajog Shrine
- Location: Eastern Side of the Great Sky Island
- Coordinates: 4475, -0813, 1115
Yomizuk Shrine
- Location: Inside the Tarm Point Cave (southeastern side of the Lanayru Great Spring).
- Coordinates: 4413, -0623, 0034
As of now, the above-mentioned are the only Shrines we have found that contain Treasure Chest with Diamonds inside. Apart from this, you can also purchase Diamonds from the shop in Goron City. The coordinates for this shop are (1643, 2444, 0381). From this shop, you can purchase a Diamond for 1000 Rupees. Also, keep in mind that you can only purchase 3 Diamonds each day from this shop in Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Use Diamonds in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
As mentioned above, Diamonds can be sold to merchants for 500 Rupees. Luckily, if you find a merchant called Ramella, then you can sell Diamond to her at a higher price. Other than that, you can also Fuse Diamonds with weapons to increase their damage by +25 in Tears of the Kingdom.
According to me, you should only Fuse Diamonds with melee weapons. If you Fuse it on an arrow, then it will only be limited to that one pull. This will waste your precious Diamond without even making full use of it.
