Hisui is the region that eventually becomes Sinnoh, hence Turtwig is one of the best Pokemon to get in Legends Arceus since it is a Sinnoh starter. It is a Grass-type Pokemon that evolves into Grotle and then Torterra. Torterra is quite a powerful Pokemon of the Grass and Ground-type. But before I digress any further let us quickly check the map location where Turtwig can spawn in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
How to Get Turtwig in Pokemon Legends Arceus
You can get a Turtwig in this game by catching it. It only has one location on the map and that is Crimson Mirelands. Turtwig will mostly spawn near the Droning Meadow region.
- Go to the Droning Meadow region in Crimson Mirelands.
- There are two methods to get there:
- From Bogbound Camp
- Go to this camp and start going east.
- You need to cross the river, depending on your progress in the game you can:
- Use a Braviary to fly there.
- Or use Hisuian Basculegion to cross the river and continue on foot (or Wyrdeer).
- From Diamond Settlement
- This method is useful when you don’t have Braviary or Basculegion:
- Go to the Diamond Settlement fast travel point.
- You should find lake Valor near it.
- Go around it. Then keep going south.
- You will eventually reach Droning Meadow.
- This method is useful when you don’t have Braviary or Basculegion:
- From Bogbound Camp
- There are two methods to get there:
- Once you get to the region look for Turtwig.
- After spotting one (or a few if you are lucky) sneak up on it.
- Next, catch it using a back strike.
- Alternatively, you can distract it using its preferred foods Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, or Plump Beans. Once it is busy eating catch it.
In case there are no Turtwig in the region you should try resetting the area to try again. Resetting the area can help spawn them on the map. To reset, exit Crimson Mirelands and go to Jubilife Village, then try changing the time of the day (this is optional) and go back to the same area.
