Overwatch 2: How To Unlock And Get Titles (Nomad, Cyberdemon, Medic, & More)

In a competitive game like Overwatch 2, your achievements speak a lot about you as a gamer. Titles are awarded for achieving certain feats. Your title will show under your username that you can show off to other players. There are tons of titles in this game to achieve and each one can showcase your game style. In this article, we will tell you how to earn titles in Overwatch 2.

How to Get Titles in Overwatch 2

There are 25 titles in Overwatch 2 that you can get by grinding Battle Pass, Completing the Challenges, or grinding Competitive Modes. 

Unlock Titles in Challenges

You can earn several titles in challenges. To do so:

  • Click on Challenges on your Homescreen
  • In challenges go to Lifetime
  • Scroll to the bottom
  • There you will see a ‘T’ with a title written below it
  • Each one will have a description of how you can earn that title

Here are all the titles and the challenges you have to complete to get them:

Stalwart Hero Win 250 games in any mode
Tenacious Hero Win 750 games in any mode
Unrelenting Hero Win 1,750 games in any mode
Partygoer Win 500 games in any Arcade mode, excluding Deathmatch
Executioner Win 500 games in any Deathmatch mode
Shapeshifter Win 500 games in Mystery Heroes
Assassin Win 250 games as any Damage Hero in Quick play or Competitive
All-Star Win 85 games in each of the three roles in Quick play or Competitive
Medic Win 250 games as any Support Hero in Quick Play or Competitive
Vanguard Win 250 games as any Tank Hero in Quick Play or Competitive

Titles in Battle Pass

Battle Pass titles will require you to do some serious grinding. You will have to reach Tier Level 80 out of 200 to unlock the new titles in Overwatch 2. Below are the list of titles you can get in Season One Battle Pass.

Unlock Titles in Competitive Mode

Competitive mode is not available to new players in the game. To unlock Competitive mode in Overwatch 2, you will have to win 50 Quick Play (Unrated) matches. That will qualify you for Competitive matches. Winning in Competitive mode will earn you a different set of titles. Here are all the titles in Competitive mode:

Adept Competitor Adept Competitor: Win 250 games in any Competitive mode.
Seasoned Competitor Seasoned Competitor: Win 750 games in any Competitive mode.
Expert Competitor Expert Competitor: Win 1,750 games in any Competitive mode.
Diamond Challenger Season 1 End Diamond: End the season ranked as Diamond in Competitive Play
Master Challenger Season 1 End Master: End the season ranked as Master in Competitive Play
Grandmaster Challenger Season 1 End Grandmaster: End the season ranked as Grandmaster in Competitive Play
Top 500 Challenger Season 1 End Top 500: End the season ranked as Top 500 in Competitive Play

How to Equip Titles in Overwatch 2

To equip titles in Overwatch 2:

  • Simply got to Career Profile
  • Go over to Customization
  • Click on Player Titles
  • Select the title you want to equip
