The Soldier’s Armor set is the one to get and unlock in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) for a high defense stat. There are many different armor sets like this in the game. In order to get the full Soldier’s Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK), you will have to collect each of its three different pieces. These are namely Soldier’s Armor, Soldier’s Greaves, and Soldier’s Helm.

Soldier’s Armor Set Location
Fortunately, all three pieces of the Soldier’s Armor set are in the same general location; Hyrule Castle. They can be found in chests within the caves of Hyrule Castle which is known as the Royal Hidden Passage. There are several different entry points that you can take to enter this cave. Be warned, as this area has a lot of high-level enemies and even a buried Stalnox miniboss that you will have to fight.
How to Enter the Royal Hidden Passage in Zelda TOTK
Listed below are ways you can enter the Royal Hidden Passage in order to get the Soldier’s Armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK):
- Observation Deck balcony: The first and easier way to enter this passage is through here. When you get to the baloney, you will see a toppled statue. Move this using Ultrahand and it will reveal an entrance to the passage below it.
- Guards Chamber: This entrance is close to the Guards Chamber, it is in a passageway next to it. Just make sure you are ready to fight multiple Black Horriblins.
- Broken wall: This one is only accessible once you complete the ‘Regional Phenomena’ quest. You will see Jerrin with a broom who explains how he worked too hard and ended up breaking the wall. This hole in the wall is a direct way to the Royal Hidden Passage.
Once you are in, go down the slope and clear the rubble to enter a stone room. You will notice a large boulder in the corner of the room. Move the boulder to reveal a passage, and ascend through this passage to find the chest with the Soldier’s Armor.
