You can get the Scarlet Sand Slate in this game by completing the Lost in the Sands sub-quest from the Golden Slumber questline. This is the first sub-quest in this questline:
- Go and talk to Bonifaz to start the Golden Slumber quest.
- Next, follow the footprints from Aaru Village.
- This will eventually lead you to the pit.
- Go down this pit and start looking for clues.
- Talk to the three people marked on your map.
- Next, go and talk to the girl at the entrance. She is will be shown as the fourth person.
- Now, follow Tirzad to the area near the ruins.
- Use the Teleport waypoint here (optional step).
- Enter the new area and explore the long corridor.
- Go to the other side and activate the mechanism to open the door.
- Defeat the enemies in this new area.
- Follow and go to the blue marker on the map.
- Activate the mechanism again to open the new door.
- Again, go to the blue marker on the map, and defeat any enemies you encounter on the way.
- Collect the Dendroculus (optional step) and activate the lift to go down.
- Activate some more mechanisms and pass through more doors to reach a lift that takes you up.
- Go up and interact with the pyramid-like device.
- Talk to Jeht.
- Use the lift to go back down.
- Talk to Jebrael.
- Tirzad will now give you the Scarlet Sand Slate.
How to Use the Slate
You can use Scarlet Sand Slate to access the previously locked areas in the desert. Once you have the slate the devices will give you clearance to explore the area to your heart’s content.
