He is a level 300 boss and Sanguine can be obtained as one of the boss drops if the drop rate supports you. So not only will you need to to defeat him, but you will also have to carry your best luck to get the Sanguine as the first drop.
However, the weapon is truly worth the effort you will have to put in since the Base Damage is 15. Along with that, it also has 5 unique skills with three of them available right now. If you are looking for Merlot, you need to head inside the Assassin’s Syndicate, located in Whitesummit in the Blackwater Grotto region on the Bronze Sea.
Along with the Sanguine, one might also be able to get the Silent Blades that are equally good. Since the overall drop rate from this boss is 1 in 5, the drop rate for Sanguine alone doubles. So you will need the best of luck to get Sanguine in one go.
