How to Get Rune Tablet in Lords of the Fallen
In Lords of the Fallen, players can find the Rune Tablet in a chest inside the Tower of Penance. This area holds a couple of important bosses that you will face. As mentioned earlier, it’s not how you get it that’s important but who you give it to. Since consequences are involved, you would want to know whether it is useful to give the Rune Tablet to Gerlinde or Sparky.
What Happens if you Give the Rune Tablet to Gerlinde?
If you hand over the Rune Tablet to Gerlinde, she will be ecstatic since it will expand her Merchant inventory and you can get the Crafter’s Essence rune. The additional items in her inventory were:
- Large Deralium Shards – 1,500 Vigor
- Briostone Trio – 700 Vigor
- Large Manastone Cluster – 900 Vigor
- Ammunition Satchel – 1,500 Vigor
What Happens if you Give the Rune Tablet to Sparky?
If you choose to give it to Sparky, he can free himself and he will reward you with the ability to perform Rune smithing at Vestiges. However, doing this will enrage Gerlinde and she will double her prices.
Should you Give Rune Tablet to Gerlinde or Sparky in LOTF?
While the answer is not straightforward, we found that it was useful to give the Rune Tablet to Sparky. Since you can make your weapons better simply at the Vestiges, it’s a useful skill to have. While Gerlinde is an important part of the game, and her prices getting double isn’t exactly a great idea, you would be missing out on something very useful if you did not give it to Sparky.
