Renown is a new rewarding mechanic for Clive in Final Fantasy 16 (FFXVI). Consider it as the reputation which you earn after doing some good deeds for the people of Valisthea. Once you manage to accumulate Renown, it can be exchanged for items at the Patron’s Whisper. It’s not like a currency, but more like a goal that you must complete to earn donations or rewards. Sounds intriguing right? So, we are here to help you with building up more Renown in FF16. Take a look below to get started.
How to Earn Renown in FF16
Here’s what you can do to get a decent amount of Renown in Final Fantasy 16 (FF16)
Defeat Notorious Marks
The best way to earn Renown is by killing Notorious Marks. The location of these creatures can be tracked or identified from their description given on the Hunt Board. All the Hunts have been given a specific rating which basically tells you the level of difficulty. So just find and kill as many Notorious Marks as possible to earn Renown in Final Fantasy 16 (FFXVI).
Complete Quests
After unlocking the Patron’s Whisper, most story and side quests will reward you with Renown. For those who don’t know, Patron’s Whisper is an area located inside Cid’s Hideaway. More specifically, you can find it right next to the Hunt Board. It is unlocked once you have reached the main story quest, A Chance Encounter. So make sure to complete the quests and earn plenty of Renown for your own good in Final Fantasy 16 (FF16).
