It is a material you will need to craft the Miracle Fishing Bait. According to Merlin, this bait will get you more rewards from fishing than ever before. To get Red Algae in Dreamlight Valley, you have to fish at any water body. You will get this material along with a fish whenever you successfully perform fishing. However, it’s not a guaranteed drop similar to Rich Soil. You will get it randomly as you fish in and out of the ripple spots. So it may take a while to gather the needed five but you can try the Dazzling Beach which has a higher spawn rate. You can check it in the Foraging Menu and you can sell it for 150 Star Coins. But don’t rush to sell it yet.
