Hogwarts Legacy is a much-awaited game based in the 1800s of the Harry Potter universe. There are a lot of exciting features in the game. Having pets is one of the things that players are most looking forward to in Hogwarts Legacy. Since students at Hogwarts are allowed to bring their own cats, owls, or rats for the school year, it seems likely that Hogwarts Legacy will also have this option. Pets have not been confirmed in Hogwarts Legacy. However, taking the game trailers into account, it seems likely that students will be allowed to have their own pets. Cats and owls have both made an appearance in the previous trailers of the game. Having said that, there has not been any official word from the game developers regarding pets.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that you can take care of magical beasts and develop a friendship with them. These magical beasts can be kept like domesticated animals in Hogwarts Legacy. You will get to meet a variety of beasts like Niffler, Kneazle, Trolls, Acromantulas, Hippogriffs, Thestrals, Centaurs, and Dragons. Moreover, you will also be able to ride some of the magical beasts like Hippogriffs.

If pets do make an appearance in the game, you will most likely be able to get them from Shops. We already know that Hogsmeade is one of the explorable areas in the game with shops like Zonko’s Joke Shop. Moreover, you should also get an option to purchase a pet when you visit Diagon Alley to purchase all your school supplies.
