Wondering how to get OST Chips in Armored Core 6 and upgrade your mech with additional OS tuning and expansions? The latest addition to the Fromsoftware series sees the addition of a variety of new features including the OS Tuning. For players who are not yet familiar with the feature, it allows you to upgrade your mech even further in AC6. These upgrades include Manual Aiming, Boost Kick, and other expansions & tuning. Although you will unlock the OS Tuning option when you are done with the first chapter, you won’t be able to use the main currency COAM for the upgrades. How to Obtain OST Chips in Armored Core 6
Players can get their hands on OST Chips by completing Arena Missions in Armored Core 6. In these missions, you will be pitted against various AI-controlled ACs with different weapons and abilities in the game. To unlock the missions, players will have to progress through Chapter 1 of AC6. Once unlocked, players can defeat the ACs, completing the missions to earn OST Chips as well as some COAM in the game. As you progress through different Arena missions you will find them increasingly difficult to beat. You will go through various encounters and increase your rank accordingly in AC6. The more difficult the arena gets, the more OST Chips you will obtain in Armored Core 6.
And although you will be able to replay Arena missions again, they won’t provide you with OST Chips in the game. Players will also obtain the chips for completion of Chapters 1 and 5 in AC6.
