In this article, we’ll help you find & catch Munchlax in Pokemon Sword & Shield.

Where to Find & Catch Munchlax in Pokemon Sword & Shield? (Locations)

How To Get Munchlax In Pokemon Sword & Shield

Munchlax in Pokemon Sword & Shield tends to spawn in Wild Areas at Motostoke Riverbank in a Normal Weather condition. However, the chances to catch Level 26-28 Pokemon will be only up to 5%. So make sure you are patient enough because it might take a while. Once you spot it, use your Quick Pokeball and battle it using a Fighting-type Pokemon and you’ll be good to go. Another method players can try is to go on 2 Star Raid, and if they’re lucky enough, they’ll be able to catch a Level 25-30 Munchlax.

For those who are unaware, Munchlax’s evolution is Snorlax. Which can also be caught at the Motostoke Riverbank. If you already have a Snorlax in your party then getting its pre-evolved form is going to be easy. You’ll simply need to give Snorlax a Full Intense and breed it with Ditto. Don’t forget to leave them alone for a while in a Nursery located on Route 5. Doing so will get you an Egg which will hatch into a Munchlax. Those who don’t have Full Intense can buy it from an Herb Merchant located in Hulbury. For your reference, we have also mentioned this Normal type Pokemon Stat in the article below.

  • Health (HP): 135
