How To Get Malicious Armor In Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Charcadet has two evolutions and one of them needs you to get Malicious Armor in Pokemon Violet. But this is no common item that you can find randomly. You cannot even buy this item from the in-game shops. Rather there is a certain NPC that gives you away this item. How to Get Malicious Armor in Pokemon Violet

You can trade Sinistea Chips for Malicious Armor with an NPC in Pokemon Violet. While there is no direct way to get this item in Pokemon Scarlet, as it is Violet exclusive. There is a workaround that you can try for it. Here is how you can get Malicious armor in both games:

1. Fast Travel to the East Pokemon Center in Zapapico town.
2. Talk to the NPC standing near a small water fountain.
3. Her speech bubble says “Fancy a Trade”.
4. She will ask you to give her 10 Sinistea Chips in exchange for a “curio with a…dark past”. This item is nothing but Malicious Armor.
5. Now, you need to catch or defeat 10 Sinistea to get these chips. Some of the best locations where you can find these Pokemon are:
   • East Province (Area Three)
   • South Province (Area Six)
6. Once, you have 10 of them go back to the NPC and talk to them.
7. Give her the chips and she will give you the Malicious Armor.

You can then use this item on a Charcadet to evolve it into a Ceruledge.

How to Get Malicious Armor in Pokemon Scarlet

You should be able to trade a Malicious Armor by asking someone that has it make a Pokemon hold it, and then trading it. I haven’t tried this method yet, but this method of trading items has been around since the older Pokemon games.

1. Get a friend that has Malicious Armor in Pokemon Violet, to make them hold it to one of their Pokemon.
2. Next, you should start the trade.
3. Go to the Poke portal and choose Link trade.
4. Next, select the Pokemon that you are giving away and make your friend send over the Pokemon that holds Malicious armor.
5. Once the trade is complete you will receive Malicious Armor in Pokemon Scarlet.

A fair trade would be to give away the Auspicious armor you get in Scarlet. Or you both can simply evolve your respective Charcadet and trade the evolved Pokemon.
