Long story short, the more Pokemon you deposit, the more Home Points you will get. So, get a lot of Pokemon to earn a metric amount of Points. Once you have enough Home Points, you can convert them into Battle Points(BP). This is amazing as you will be able to get rare items in your Pokemon games by virtually transferring them in Home.

The Conversion rate of Home Points to Battle Points is 30:1. The most expensive item you can buy with Battle Points costs around 80 BP. That means you will need 2400 Home Points to get that much BP. It may seem like a lot but it is worth doing as it is easier than battling 7 Trainers back to back and winning them all. Plus it will help boost your Pokemon Team with Good Attacks & better Base Stats.
