In the new God of War Ragnarok, you will find many resources across the nine realms. You can upgrade your armor and weapons with these resources. If you have played the previous installment of this game, then you must know the importance of these upgrades. They will help you fight against some of the most powerful foes Kratos has faced until now. While some of the resources are available to you early on, some will unlock in the later part of the game. The Hardened Remnants are one such resource you will find as you progress. In this article, we will tell you where to get Hardened Remnants in God of War Ragnarok.
Where to Get Hardened Remnants in God of War Ragnarok
As we mentioned, this resource will be available in the later part of the game. So if you do not want spoilers, we suggest you stop reading. Here’s how you can get your hands on this resource. You can get Hardened Remnants by raiding the Remnants of Asgard. These are located throughout the nine realms where parts of Asgard have fallen. Finding them is easy but that’s not all. Firstly, you will have to fight against Odin’s strongest warriors, Einherjars, to clear these areas. After defeating all the enemies, you will gain access to the chests in that area. Open these chests to get your Hardened Remnants in GoW Ragnarok.
Hardened Remnants Locations
You don’t have to follow any order to clear these Remnants of Asgard. Hence, you can start with the ones closest to you. Here are the locations of all the Hardened Remnants.
- Svartalfheim: Aurvangar Wetlands, Alberich Hollow, and Jarnsmida Pitmines
- Vanaheim: Freyr’s Camp and Eastern Barri Woods
- Muspelheim: Burning Cliffs
- Midgard: The Well of Urd and the Lake of Nine
- Alfheim: The Strond and the Barrens
Further, clearing all these areas will complete the ‘Last Remnants of Asgard’ favor. Hardened Remnants are used to upgrade the Leviathan Axe. We recommend you use them after clearing each of these areas.
