If you are stuck in the dark, Deep Fireflies will help you illuminate the way in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. While they cannot be used exactly as a torch, players can blend them with monster parts to make Elixirs. Along with that, they are quite useful to upgrade certain outfits in the game. However, it is quite troublesome to farm them since they are only found in one location, the Depths. But even in the Depths, it is quite difficult to find them unless you know where to look. If you are looking to farm Deep Fireflies in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you need to head to the Depths. Deep Fireflies only spawn in certain regions of the Depth so it will troublesome to look for them. Thanks to the map from MapGenie, we can roughly pinpoint an estimated area where we have been able to farm the Deep Firefly in TotK.

Players can head West from the Floria Canyon Mine in Zelda TotK in order to farm Deep Fireflies. If you are anywhere close to the Great Abandoned Central Mine, you simply need to keep heading South. Be cautious as you are likely to face numerous enemies while getting there.

How to Use Deep Fireflies in Zelda TotK

Although the Deep Firefly can be used to upgrade a few outfits, its main purpose is to light up dark areas. So the best way to use Deep Fireflies in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is to blend it with monster parts and make Bright Elixirs. However, the Elixir only illuminates for a certain time period depending on the number of fireflies used while making this Elixir.
