While it is somewhat difficult to get Components in RimWorld, you can craft and make them as you progress further. Components can build and repair electrical devices, make firearms, armors, and even ship parts. Since it is quite important, here’s how you can get Components in RimWorld:

  • You can get it by Mining from compacted machinery. Compacted Machinery is very fast to mine and can yield few components.
  • While you need a long-range mineral scanner, you can find distant lumps.
  • Quarry concentrated colonies are also a great way since you are looking to get components.
  • Moreover, you can randomly get Ship Chunks over the map, and deconstructing them can get you a lot of components.

Additionally, it is not difficult to craft and make components in RimWorld, but there are some requirements. You will need Fabrication Research and a smith with Crafting Skill level 8 and above. If you fulfill the requirement, all you need to make components is 12x Steel.

That’s all you need from this guide on how to get and make Components in RimWorld. While you are here, make sure you check out how to make Throne Room and more guides, tips, and tricks at Gamer Tweak.
