While winning matches gives you the most points you also earn some points for finishing the match in a draw. But where you won’t get any points is for losing. Here are the points you get in each scenario:

  • Won the match: 15 CP
  • Draw match: 5 CP
  • Lost the match: 0 CP

While these are the ways you get CP in every match. There are other ways to get CP too, and that is by increasing your Rank. Each Rank in Overwatch 2 will give you a certain amount of CP at the end of the season. And to further get more points these ranks are split into queues, which are Open Queue and Role Queue. Here are all the ranks in the game and the CP you get from them:

  • Grandmaster: 1,750 CP
  • Master: 1,200 CP
  • Diamond: 750 CP
  • Platinum: 500 CP
  • Gold: 250 CP
  • Silver: 125 CP
  • Bronze: 65 CP
