How to Get Chrome Compressor in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty
Players can get their hands on the Chrome Compressor in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty by purchasing it from any Ripperdocs in Dogtown. Since the subdistrict of Pacifica is exclusive to the DLC, players without it won’t be able to access the area. This makes it impossible to have Chrome Compressor in the base game.
With that being said, one of the ripperdocs that you can purchase the Chrome Compressor from is Eron. You will come across him inside the EBM Petrochem Stadium in Dogtown in the game. Another method to get your hands on the Chrome Compressor is to loot it from Airdrops. You will come across them while you are roaming around in Dogtown.
Once you come across the Airdrop, simply head towards it and use quickhacking to unlock and get all the items available inside it. Eventually, you will find a Chrome Compressor inside the airdrop in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.
For now, players can only obtain the compressor either by purchasing it or in airdrops. Since the recent 2.1 patch for Phantom Liberty brought down the price to buy the cyberware, it is quite easy to get in Cyberpunk 2077.
Is the Chrome Compressor Worth It in Cyberpunk 2077?
The simple answer would be yes, it is worth it since it will allow you to increase V’s Cyberware Capacity in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. However, in the long run, it might not be what you are looking for. Since the Compressor takes an entire slot of the Operating System Cyberware, you won’t be able to equip any other cyberware like Sandevistans, Berserk, Quickhacking, etc.
This is a great deal as all of these cyberware provide you with multiple active and passive buffs beneficial for V in the game. However, with that being said, the Chrome Compressor can be useful while grinding through the levels. In the end, it will depend on you whether or not you would want it over other cyberwares like Sandevistans and Berserk.
