Ceruledge is a brand-new Pokémon and is exclusive to Pokémon Violet just like Armarouge is to Pokemon Scarlet. Its base version – Charcadet – is known as a Fire Child Pokémon in the game. The tiny Pokémon is a decent Fire-type Pokémon to have on your team but can be even better when you evolve it into Ceruledge. If you’re confused about that then follow our guide on how to get Ceruledge in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
How to get Ceruledge in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
You’ll need Sinistea chips to transform your Charcadet into Ceruledge. These chips can be obtained after beating Sinistea. This Pokemon can be found across towns, cities and even amongst the ruins. Some of them can be found at Zapipico and Alfornada. This Pokemon will drop a Sinistea chip after you manage to defeat it. However, keep in mind that you need to have atleast 10 of these chips to make the evolution possible in Pokemon Violet.
After collecting all of them, just head to Zapapico. This town is located in the northeast part of the Paldean region in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Head directly west from Levincia city to reach Zapapico. Here, on the easternmost part of the town, you’ll find a fountain near the Pokemon Center. Here, you will find an NPC who will be willing to trade the Malicious Armor in exchange for your Sinistea chips. Complete the trade and claim the Malicious Armor.
Once you receive the Malicious Armor at Zapapico, head to the ‘Other Items’ pocket in your Bag. Next, you simply have to use it on Charcadet and the evolution will be complete. You will finally have Ceruledge in your Pokémon collection now.
However, Ceruledge is not available for Pokemon Scarlet players. If you’re a Scarlet player, there’s no way to get Ceruledge following the above steps as it’s only restricted to Violet players. However, all hope’s not lost. You can get Ceruledge with the help of the trading feature in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. You can do this by using the ‘Link Trade’ option in your Poke Portal menu. If any of your friends play the game, ask them to trade their Ceruledge to you in exchange for a Pokemon of their choice. You could might as well trade your Armarouge to a Pokemon Violet player in exchange for Ceruledge which would turn out to be the perfect trade!
