How to Find General Ghorbrani in COD MW2
In ‘Strike’, your objective is to find and locate the Iranian General Ghorbrani. You will be playing as the fan-favorite ‘Ghost’. To complete ‘Strike’:
- Walk along the narrow path and scale some ledges
- You will come across an open field
- Press and hold the E Button to open your Spotter Scope
- There will be a short dialogue after which you will have to locate and confirm General Ghorbrani’s position
- Move your spotter near the helicopter, change zoom (Shift on PC), and you will see him
- Left Click on General Ghorbrani to mark him
- Steer the Missile through the canyon
- Avoid hitting the walls or going out of the range or you will fail the task
- When prompted, engage boosters by left-clicking
- You will hit the target with the missile and the mission is complete
Who is General Ghorbrani?
General Ghorbrani is the commander of Iran’s Quds Force. During the mission, he is taking part in an arms deal with Russia. Post General’s death, his second-in-command Hassan Zyani takes on the leadership. The plot revolves around capturing and thwarting Hassan Zyani’s plans.
General Ghorbrani bears a heavy resemblance to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps real-life General Commander “Qassem Soleimani”. He was assassinated on the orders of the former President of America, Donald Trump, with a drone strike.
