How to Free Look in Star Wars Squadrons

Star Wars Squadron is out now and there are thousands of people who are having a lot of trouble while playing it. One of the biggest problem Star Wars Squadrons players are facing is they actually don’t have any idea how to Free Look in the game.

For the uninitiated, Free Look in Star Wars Squadrons is something that lets you look around without steering the ship. Since the game does not mention it clearly, a lot of people are finding it hard to know how to Free Look in Star Wars Squadrons. If you too are facing the same issue, this guide will surely teach you what actually you need to do:

Star Wars Squadrons – How to Free Look

Star Wars Squadrons is currently available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. In order to Free-Look in Star Wars Squadrons (on PS4), you merely need to double-tap R3. If you are playing on PC, you need to press L to do the same.

The only reason why people are confused is the control menu tells players to hit R3. But the game actually does not explain how to actually use the Free Look option untill you reach 10 missions into the campaign.

Making everything clear, what all you need to do is to double-tap R3 to use Free Look in the game. It should not be similar to the most intuitive command, since the right stick (R3) is also used to yaw and pitch your ship.

However, it is a quite useful and mandatory feature to wrap your head around. The only reason why it is an utmost important feature is because it lets you turn your head instead of your ship. Yes, if you use this feature, you will be able to look around the cockpit and out the windows without steering your ship.
