FNAF Security Breach Ruin DLC Release Date
The Ruin DLC was first announced on May 30, 2022, by the official Twitter account of Steelwool Studios. It is confirmed that the FNAF Security Breach Ruin DLC is coming out this year, in 2023. This DLC will be an add-on update and free for the players that have bought the Five Nights At Freddy’s Security Breach. While a fixed release date has not been announced yet, we will update this article as soon as more information is revealed.
The promotional teaser confirmed and revealed that the game will be taking place in the Pizzaplex. From the teaser, we can see Gregory asking for Help from the ruins of Pizzaplex. We can also see the broken version of the Glamrock Chica animatronics in complete ruins. If you notice, there is a set of red eyes in the top-left corner of the teaser photo. This could be the main antagonist or possibly William Afton, waking up from the dead, again. Or this could be a different character from the past FNAF titles.
But who will be the protagonist of the Ruin DLC? It appears that the protagonist is going to be a young girl whose backstory hasn’t been revealed yet. While there are several ongoing theories, it is unknown who the new protagonist will be. One of the plausible theories points to the female protagonist being a friend or known to Gregory.
In my opinion, the DLC might involve saving Gregory from the Animatronics and other dangers. Although little is known about the new or returning characters, we might see Burntrap and Blob. Or FNAF might reveal new antagonist (s) for the free DLC. Many fans shared that they expect the upcoming DLC to balance out the lack of lore and plot in Security Breach.
