Lethal Company players have encountered a strange audio bug that is hampering their experience with the game. While they are in the lobby, the audio and the mic work perfectly. However, once they join the game, they encounter the audio not working issue and yes, it is as bad as it sound. Since the gameplay experience is hindered, players are looking for all fix, solution, or possible troubleshooting tips that will help them get rid of it.
Sadly, it is not as easy as it sounds and if you were hoping to resolve the issue quickly, you might be disappointed. The game has a lot to depend on audio since communication is integral for all team roles and if there is an issue with that, the chances of completing quota and surviving are almost null.

Although there aren’t many troubleshooting tips that are working, players are reporting a few that are temporary solutions to the problem:
- Players can try using a different audio output altogether to try and bypass the issue.
- Restarting the game is a valid option and on some occasions, it even temporary solves the issue.
- Lastly, a few players tried Verifying the Game Files via Steam menu and they found a few corrupted files that were troubling the game.
You can always try contacting Lethal Company Support to get an immediate fix. However, it’s unlikely that there would be a solution without a permanent patch or update.
