If you’ve already spoken to Dr. Finneus (at the GPS coordinates of X: 1150 / Y: 132 / Z: 2450 in the Ocean), you already have the unlocked the Fisch quest to find 10 prehistoric fossils and in this guide, we will show you where to get all the bones. They are scattered across 4 islands and won’t be quickly caught, so you need to keep at it. When you obtain all 10 fossil bones, you need to return them to Dr. Finneus and then continue the quest to purchase the Relic Rod. Here’s how to complete the Archaeologist Bestiary.

The first 3 are of the Uncommon rarity, and the next 3 are Unusual. Nessie’s Spine and Spined Fine are Legendary items, and Ancient Serpent Spine and Skull are Mythical. Thankfully, there are no weather, season, bait or time-based restrictions for these fossil bones in Fisch, so you can complete this quest without worries.
When you finally complete the Archaeologist Bestiary and talk to Dr. Finneus again, he will give you a Handwritten note with a code. Visit the Archeological Site (XYZ: 4045, 134.9, 78), complete the stone puzzle to unlock the gate and buy the Relic Rod from there.
