For the Golden Tide event, you are tasked with finding 4 algae from different locations in Fisch. Dr Glimmerfin, the NPC who gives you this objective, tells you that there are algae in Ancient Isle, Forsaken Shoes, Mushgrove Swamp, and Snowcap Island, but you have to find the exact locations yourself. Returning these items to him will give you some interesting rewards like a title, a bobber, a rod, and a boat!

How to Get all Four Algae in Fisch (Locations)
When you see a chat message related to the Algae server event, spawn your boat and get there quickly. The location will depend on the island near it. The Algae Hunt event lasts for a very limited time and there will only be up to 2 in one pool. It will disappear after 15 minutes have passed or if the algae have been exhausted, similar to a Shark Hunt event. Due to this reason, it’s quite a competitive catch.
The best bait to catch algae during this event is Weird Algae and as per the community and the official wiki editor, the Nocturnal rod is the best fishing rod to get them. If you’ve enchanted your Nocturnal rod to have better lure speed, you will spend much less time getting Algae, but if not, be prepared to click on SHAKE quite a bit.
