Where to Find Mimikyu Early in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
You can reach the location where this Pokemon wanders quite early in the game. The reason why it is so difficult to catch is its low spawn rate. The best place to find Mimikyu early is the Ruins west of Levincia town. You can catch them by battling these Pokemon roaming around in this area. This location is to the North-East side of Mesagoza labeled as East Province (Area Two). If you don’t have a mount or mount abilities yet, then you can just go through Levincia to cross the river. To increase its spawn rate, you can also use Ghost Encounter or Fairy Encounter items. These are Meal Powers you can get with certain Sandwiches like the Classic Bocadillo. Other places you can find Mimikyu in Scarlet and Violet are Asado Desert, Casseroya Lake, Glaseado Mountain, and Tagtree Thicket.
Mimikyu is a Disguise Pokemon with a Ghost/Fairy dual-type. This makes it strong against Fighting, Dark, and Dragon-type Pokemon. It has fairly balanced stats and can be a strong Pokemon on your team. These are Mimikyu’s Base Stats:
