Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How To Find The Cracked Pot

Find the Cracked Pot in Pokemon SV

With the various types of evolutions in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the Black Tea Pokemon – Sinistea makes the list for one of the toughest evolutions in the game. To evolve it, you need to find an item known as Cracked Pot. It’s also important to note that it can be used only on a ‘Phony Sinistea’ and not the ‘Authentic Sinistea’. But first, we’ll show you where to find Cracked Pot in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Find Cracked Pot in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

First things first, ensure you have the ‘Phony Sinistea’. The prime difference between them and an Authentic Sinistea is that the latter have a small blue stamp on the bottom and they also need a Chipped Pot for their evolution. One way to find out is sending your Sinistea using the Auto-battle feature. Just move the camera until you can notice the bottom of the Sinistea Pokemon. If it doesn’t have any stamp, you’re good to go.

Getting back to our point, the Cracked Pot evolution item is incredibly hard to come across. However, we have noticed 2 locations where these can spawn in the game.

Near the Eastern side of Port Marinada

From Port Marinada, head southeast where you’ll find a tree just behind a few houses. You’ll find a Cracked Pot just around this specific tree. To make it less confusing, we have marked the exact location on the map below.

At the center of Socarrat Trail

Once you head to Socarrat Trail, just go towards the center of the area. Here you’ll find a large green door that leads to a shrine. From the shrine, head southwest to a tree where you’ll be able to find the Cracked Pot. We have marked this exact spot on a map to help you understand easier.

If you intend on a more straightforward approach, you could simply buy a Cracker Pot at the Auction house in Port Marinada. But do keep in mind that the items on auction are extremely random and you might have a very acute chance of getting the Cracked Pot. The items on the auction are refreshed each day in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. So, keep checking back to find. Even if you’re lucky to find it at the auction, you’d still have to outbid a potential buyer to get the Cracked Pot.

Once you manage to get the Cracked Pot, you simply have to use it on your Sinistea and then level it up. As soon as it levels up, it will turn into a Polteageist.

That’s all on how to find Cracked Pot in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. If you found this helpful, head over to our Pokemon SV guides section right here.
