How to Change Fielding Setting in MLB The Show 23
MLB The Show 23 has a wide range of options when it comes to game settings. Players can set up how they can control the way they pitch, hit, and field in the game. When you start the game all your settings will be on the default for each option. Make your way to settings and press RB/R1 to change the page to Fielding. There you will see a number of options that can be tweaked to make fielding in the game more efficient. The two main aspects of Fielding are spotting and throwing the ball. The game has different choices for each of these tasks.
Players can set the fielding interface to one of four options- Track Ball, Drift Ball, Catch Indicator Off, and Automatic. These options will change the way you spot the ball in the outfield. Track Ball and Drift ball lay out a projection of where the ball will land. You can even set this at Auto to let the game do all the catching and throwing for you. For throwing you can pick from Button Accuracy, Analog, Buttons, and Automatic. We find Button Accuracy, where you time your throw to increase its accuracy to be the best setting. You can use the Practice mode to try out each of the options and see what suits you best.
