To fix Forza Horizon 5 (FH5) multiplayer convoy not working, you need to first start a Horizon Solo session, and then with your friends online, invite and start a Convoy right from there. According to some replies to this issue in Reddit, one workaround, for now, is that you need to start an event by inviting your friends. Then complete the entire event with the same group of friends till the end.
With no official fix available as of now, don’t worry this issue is talked about in the Twitter feed. Many players are not able to create convoys the conventional way. And even the devs have acknowledged this issue on Twitter. So currently they are working on this issue, and a fix will be available soon. We hope the fix is released and we can’t wait longer to play with friends in convoy.
Meanwhile you can also check your network settings in both Xbox and Windows PC to check if the issue is from your end. In Xbox go to settings, network, make sure your NAT type is set to “Open”. And on PC, check the “Network” tab within your windows Xbox app. Confirm that your NAT type is “Open” and your Server Connectivity is not “Blocked”. If so rectify these two issues and try again to join with your friends. These might fix your FH5 multiplayer issues.
