What Is The Best Way Get Netherite In Minecraft

Check out this guide to know some fast ways to get Netherite in Minecraft.

Weapons & equipment crafted using Diamonds are the strongest ones in Minecraft. Hence, you should try to make them even more durable by upgrading them frequently. For those who don’t know, a Netherite is an important resource that is used to upgrade all the Diamond items. Although, obtaining it can be an exhausting process. So, check out this guide that features the best and fastest way to get Netherite in Minecraft 1.19.

How to Get Netherite in Minecraft

Before we move any further, know that Netherite is not a readily available resource. You will have to obtain several items before finally getting a Netherite. Firstly, you will have to head to the Nethers so you can start mining Ancient Debris. The most usual coordinate where an Ancient Debris spawn is Y = 15. Once you reach the mentioned Y coordinate, start mining using a Diamond Pickaxe.

Upon obtaining Ancient Debris, you will have to smelt it using a Furnace or Blast Furnace. Use any Fuel, for example, Coal, to Smelt the Ancient Debris to extract a Nether Scrap out of it. Now, a Nethter Scrap is used to make Nether Ingots. Here is how to craft Nether Ingot in Minecraft:

  • Collect 4x Nether Scraps & 4x Gold Ingots.
  • Place them in the 3x Crafting Grid as shown in the image below:

Upon placing them successfully, you will receive a Netherite Ingot. You can then use it to make Netherite Weapons, Armor, or Tools in Minecraft.

Here are the Best Ways to Get Netherite in Minecraft

Here are a few methods that you should try to get Netherite in Minecraft:

Bastion Remnant

The fastest way to obtain a Netherite is by obtaining it from a Bastion Remnant loot chest. There is a 42.1% chance that a player will receive a Netherite Ingot from a Treasure Chest in Bastion Remnant in Minecraft. Also, you can receive a Netherite Scrap in the following chests on both Bedrock and Java Editions:

Chest NameNumber of DropsChance %
Treasure chest124.40%
Generic chest14.50%
Hoglin stable chest19.10%

Bed Mining

For this method, you need food, armor, and obviously, lots of beds. Now, all you got to do is, dig a tunnel and place a bed inside it. Further, move a couple of steps back and interact with the bed to cause a massive explosion. You will lose a few health in the process, but it won’t harm much assuming you have food and armor with you.

After the explosion, you will see a chunk of blocks removed. This will help you locate the Ancient Debris easily. You can then, use it to get Netherite in Minecraft.

TNT Mining

This is one of my favorite methods to obtain a Netherite. Ensure that you have tons of TNT in your inventory. After that, head over to the Nethers on the coordinates Y=14. Start digging up a long tunnel and place mines at a 4 blocks distance throughout the tunnel. Now, light up any one TNT so all of them burst one after another in succession. This will clear out a bunch of areas making it easier to get Ancient Debris and ultimately, Netherite.
