To Fast Travel in Monster Hunter Stories 2, you will have to unlock the Catavan station. These stations are operated by Felyne who will let you ride the Catvan, save the game, and pass time. They will be denoted as paw prints on your map. Once unlocked, you will be able to travel to it from the world map.
You will unlock the first Catavan station as a part of the main story. After you defeat the second main boss and exploring the Grasslands, you will see the Catvan while returning back to the village. You can explore the maps further to unlock more of these outposts. Once unlocked, you will be able to fast travel to any of these Catvans on the map with absolutely no cost at all. You will only be able to travel to the Catvans that you have explored. So keep exploring and discover new ones as much as you can. There will be one at all the major locations of the game.
