Sneaky River Snails will help you improve your stealth in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. So if you feel that you need to improve your sneaking abilities for a certain mission, farming and having these snails will come in handy. While they are certainly useful as a cooking recipe, we prefer to utilize them for their stealth abilities. Although they are easy to spot, they are found only in a handful of regions in TOTK so you will have a hard time finding them.

Where to Find Sneaky River Snails in Zelda TOTK

The best locations to farm for Sneaky River Snails are the ponds and lakes of Zora’s Domain in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Along with that, you can also look for them near the lakes and rivers south of Hyrule Ridge. The best places are Ludfo’s Bog and the lake and river south of Satori Mountain. Thanks to this map from MapGenie, we can pinpoint the locations we use to farm Sneaky River Snails in Zelda TOTK. Although they are rare, you can farm 5-6 snails at one of these locations if you are lucky.

Additionally, although they are called Sneaky River Snails, they are in fact shiny and easy to locate if you are close to them. So if you have been confused about how to find them at these locations, don’t worry as these snails are the easiest to spot.

How to Use Sneaky River Snails in TOTK

As mentioned, Sneaky River Snails can be consumed in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom to gain some stealth attributes which can be useful during missions or farming creatures where sneaking would be a necessity. One such example is the Sunset Fireflies where you have to sneak close to them in order to catch them.
