One of the most important crafting recipe material that players will look for is Resin in LOTR Return to Moria and finding it is a tedious task. While it is easy to get if you know the location and complete the necessary requirement, it’s more of an endgame material.
Resin acts as a fossil in the game and won’t be available via trees as most players would be thinking. Players will have to head to the Lower Deeps area in order to find it. Luckily, it looks like solid lava and will be glowing in the region so it would be easier for you to identify.
How to Get Resin in LOTR Return to Moria
- Head down to the Lower Deeps.
- Carry a Tier 3 Pickaxe or higher.
- Look for Solid Lava like ore which is glowing red in color.
One of the basic requirement to farm Resin in LOTR Return to Moria is a Tier 3 Pickaxe. If you have already reached the Lower Deeps, you would have easily crafted a Tier 3 Pickaxe. With that in hand, head below to mine Resin deep in the caves. Keep an eye out for a glowing red colored ore that resembles solid lava and start using your pickaxe here.
If you have increase inventory space, you can carry numerous units of Resin at once. While there are numerous other items that Resin helps in, we found the best way to use it is to craft Hide. Since farming it off animals becomes difficult later on, you can use the Loom and craft Hide with Hide Scraps and Resin.
That’s all we have on farming Resin. If you found this guide useful, do check out our other LOTR Return to Moria guides while you are here at Gamer Tweak.
