Farming money in AC Mirage is the only way to survive the busy streets of Baghdad and purchase items. As you progress, you will need lots of Dirham to buy Outfits, resources, dyes, and upgrade materials. While pickpocketing may help earn a few dimes, you need to enable the Guaranteed Pickpocketing for this farming method. This would allow you to not only farm Dirham but also get Tokens like Power Favor token, Scholar Favor token, and Merchant token. How to Farm Money in AC Mirage
The Basra Gate is the best location to farm Dirham and Tokens by pickpocketing the normal civilians. As you head there, it is essential to activate the Eagle Vision and turn on the QTE Pickpocketing option. But to start farming money and tokens in AC Mirage, you must head to the Cartographer. It is located to the extreme southwest of the Commander’s district of the Round City. You can also make your way to the Bazaar in Karakh district for more traffic.
From here, you can blend in with the crowd and use Eagle Vision. As soon as you spot the civilians with a glowing pouch, head close and pass through them to successfully pickpocket them. However, if you can’t find anyone with a glowing pouch, you can reset these NPCs by passing the time. For that, use any benches and reset the time until you get the desired results. While pickpocketing, we recommend heading to the location with more traffic around the area. The more crowded regions the more chances to pickpocket these NPCs.
Here are the following items you can earn by pickpocketing certain pouches:
- White Pouch: Dirhams, jewellery, common items.
- Yellow Pouch: Dirhams, rarer jewellery, Khidmah Tokens.
Even though you might not always farm Dirham in AC Mirage, pickpocketing more NPCs will often reward you with valuable items. You can sell them to Merchants or Shopkeepers as you stack up these valuable items by robbing them. Aside from the valuable items, you can also sell unneeded outfits and dyes to them. Note that if you are in combat, the game won’t allow you to pickpocket anyone.
How to Save Money
You can spend a Merchant Favor Token in AC Mirage to earn discounts when buying anything from a Shopkeeper vendor. This would allow you to save up some Dirham and get the items or outfits you require at lower prices. You can get a Merchant Favor Token by pickpocketing them from NPCs or completing contracts.
You will earn the Hands of a Thief achievement or trophy if you pickpocket 50 people.
