How to complete The Mongoose And The Man Treasure Hunt in Far Cry 6?
To begin the mission just make your way to the quest location. Once you get here you will come across a note stapled onto a lamppost. Interact with this note and you will start the Treasure Hunt.

Go over to the west end of the house and you will find a gate that is locked up. Shoot at the lock and the gate will open. Enter the compound and go into the main house. Inside you will find a few papers strewn around. This note will reveal that the mongoose has eaten the key to a treasure chest.
Now, to progress further in the Far Cry 6 ‘The Mongoose And The Man Treasure Hunt’ quest, go back to the yard. Go over to the shed and you will find the key for the tiny shed. Use it to unlock the shed and now you will have to face the feral mongoose.
This mongoose is pretty quick and will get away pretty easily. You will have to put it down in order to get the key for the treasure chest.
Once the Mongoose dies you will be able to get the key from it. Now, head back to the house and you will be able to open the treasure chest on the first floor. This will give you the Lethal Dose Pistol as a reward.
