Pokemon Legends Arceus: How To Evolve Trade Pokemon Without Trading

Updated Date :

Players can finally evolve Pokemon that require Trade without trading with the help of a new item in Pokemon Legends Arceus. This is a very needed feature if you have a few friends that aren’t available for trading. Previously, you had to trade them with someone to evolve them. This was especially problematic if you were trading with strangers as it needed you to trust that they will return the Pokemon back. And most trades didn’t end well by strangers leaving after receiving the Pokemon. But finally that all is going to be a thing of the past.

You can evolve trade evolution Pokemon without Trading by using a Linking Cord. The Linking cord costs 1000 Merit Points and you can purchase it from the Merit shop in Jubilife Village.

  1. Return lost satchels to NPCs to earn Merit points.
  2. Once you have collected 1000 Merit Points, buy the Linking Cord from the Merit shop in the Jubilife Village.
  3. Open your inventory and use the Linking Cord.
  4. Finally, choose the Pokemon that requires trade to evolve.

Remember that you can only use each Linking Cord once per evolution. So when you use it once, it will get consumed and you will need a new Linking Cord to evolve another Pokemon.

Which Pokemon can you evolve that needs Trade?

The Hisui region has many Pokemon from the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh regions. These are the Pokemon on which you can use the Linking Cord to evolve them.
