Magneton is basically a trio of Magnemite – its base form. The Pokemon has a final evolution that is known as Magnezone – which many players don’t know how to get. In this guide, we’ll give you all the information you need to evolve Magneton in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How to Evolve Magneton into Magnezone in Pokemon SV

Evolving Magneton in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is not as straightforward as you think. There’s no specific Level that you need to reach to transform Magneton. The Magnet Pokemon will keep on levelling up, but you’ll notice that the evolution just refuses to take place. If you’re confused, let us explain it to you in simple terms. You will need a Thunder Stone to help Magneton evolve immediately into Magnezone.

Thunder Stones can be found popping up in certain locations across Paldea. But we suggest that you buy them from the Delibird Presents shop. We got ours from the branch located in Mesagoza in Pokemon SV for 3,000 Poke Dollars. The Thunder Stone can be applied to your Magneton just like trainers use the Metal Coat on Scyther.

Just open your bag, choose a Thunder Stone and equip Magneton with it. Once that is done, train your Magneton until it reaches the next level by using EXP Candies or sending it in battles. The next time it levels up, it will evolve into Magnezone. The Pokemon is otherwise known as the ‘Magnet Area Pokemon’. It has abilities like Magnet Pull, Sturdy and a hidden ability called Analytic. Some of its base stats are a 130 Special Attack, 115 Defense and 90 Special Defense. Magnezone’s breathtakingly impressive stats will surely motivate you enough to go through the grind in getting it.
