Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: How To Evolve Bisharp

Here is our guide on how to evolve Bisharp in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

Bisharp has one of the most solid offensive typing stats in the game. It is a returning Generation 5 Pokemon and also has a brand-new third stage evolution in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. It can transform into Kingambit but many fans are scratching their heads as they can’t seem to figure out how to actually do it. Don’t worry, with this guide we’ll show you how to evolve Bisharp in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

How to Evolve Bisharp into Kingambit in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

First things first, to make the evolution possible, you will need to find a specific Bisharp. You can’t evolve a Bisharp that you already own or hunt any random Bisharp in the wild. Follow these steps to ensure you evolve Bisharp and get Kingambit as smoothly as possible.

Location of Bisharp in Pokemon SVHead over to North Province Area Two and into the dense bamboo thickets region. Here, alongwith the other spawned Pokémon, you will find Bisharps too. But you shouldn’t hunt a lone Bisharp. You need to find a Bisharp that is surrounded by multiple Pawniards around it. Run into that specific Bisharp and start the battle. Once you catch it, head to the ‘Summary’ page to make sure that it’s holding a specific item called ‘Leader’s Crest’.

The Leader’s Crest is held only by a Bisharp who heads a group of Pawniards. Next, with your newly acquired Bisharp, you will have to defeat other Bisharps in the forest. Just like earlier, take your new Bisharp and run into ones that roam with Pawniards around them. You will have to defeat 3 of these specific Bisharps like mentioned earlier.

Make sure you run into Bisharp and not the Pawniards around them or you’ll pick up an unnecessary and time-wasting fight with them. You need to defeat 3 other Bisharps in the area to basically become the ultimate leader. Once that is done, simply level up your Bisharp. Once that is done, your Bisharp will finally evolve into Kingambit the next time you level up.

Evolving Bisharp into Kingambit can be a tedious process but if you follow the tips mentioned above to the tee, you’d have no issues. That’s it from us, if you liked this guide, stay tuned to our Pokémon Scarlet & Violet guides right here.
