Sargon will stumble upon various characters and bosses on his journey to rescue Prince Ghassan in the cursed city of Mount Qaf. One such opponent that might not be easy to beat early in your playthrough is the blind Jailer roaming around the Sacred Archives. While your first instinct would be to take down the opponent, it’s not much of a fair match during your first time in archives. Your best bet would be to avoid any matchup at all, however, in case you do get caught under his radar, the Jailer will directly send you to prison.
That said, when you first discover the prison area, there are no open doors available for you to just walk past and not serve your sentence. However, you do have a secret way of getting out of the prison in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown. So if you are wondering how to escape prison rather than serve your time, then here is everything you need to know.
How to Get Out of Prison in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown
Inside the prison cell in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, you will quickly realise that the gates are locked. However, if you look closely there would be some wooden planks on the left corner ceiling. You will be able to break them quite easily with Sargon’s attacks in the game. Once destroyed, simply climb out from the space and you will come across an area filled with scrap and an opening.
You will have to destroy all the scraps and slide through the opening available on the right-hand side wall. After sliding through the gap and entering the main prison area, you will have to climb your way up while avoiding the spears. Once you reach another level, you will encounter two more guards ready to attack you. This would be an easy matchup and you will be able to defeat them quite easily.
After defeating them, simply climb up on the platform where you will come across an inscription on the wall. You will need to head right, towards a locked gate and a pressure plate in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown. Standing on the pressure plate you will be able to open the locked gate. However, you will need to be quick and slide through as the gate will come down after stepping off the plate.
Once you slide through the gate, you will escape the prison and enter Sacred Archives once again in the game. From here, you will be able to continue your journey ahead. It is worth mentioning that if the Jailer spots you again and throws you into prison, you can use this route to get out of it immediately.
